" I’m Wesley Jones, and I founded Dala Integrated Systems here in Cape Town with a clear mission: to build and engineer AI solutions by Africans, for Africa.

The name Dala comes from a word often spoken in the Cape Flats, where I grew up. It means to do, to go forth, to act with courage. That spirit of courage and action is at the heart of everything we create.

For over a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of education technology, ICT, and cloud innovation. I’ve led initiatives that brought e-learning into schools with limited resources, deployed ICT strategies that scaled nationally, and delivered solutions that made technology meaningful in the classroom and the workplace. Along the way, I’ve gained deep expertise in cloud systems, cybersecurity, networking, project management, and EdTech innovation—skills that allow me to translate vision into tangible impact.

At Dala Integrated Systems, we’re proving that Africa doesn’t just consume technology—we create it. From AI tools that help educators teach in all 11 South African languages, to intelligent learning systems tailored for our diverse contexts, to rugged AI-powered mini-PCs that bring intelligence to schools, businesses, and defense in the toughest environments—we are building with courage, for impact.
